Terms & Conditions
Al-Jami' (الجميع)
Last updated: [●] July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Al-Jami' platform, available at aljami.io and associated subdomains (the "Platform"). The Platform is owned and operated by Al-Jami' LLC, a company incorporated in the Qatar Financial Centre ("QFC") under licence number [●], with its registered office at [●], Doha, Qatar ("Al-Jami'", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. What Al-Jami' Is — and Is Not
1.1 Al-Jami' is a business-to-business (B2B) discovery and communication platform. It connects businesses seeking professional and technology services ("Seekers") with verified service providers ("Providers") in Qatar and the wider GCC.
1.2 Al-Jami' is a neutral marketplace. We do not provide, perform, supervise, or guarantee any of the services listed by Providers. We are not a party to any engagement, contract, negotiation, or transaction between a Seeker and a Provider.
1.3 Al-Jami' does not process payments between Seekers and Providers. Any fees, invoices, or payments for services are agreed and settled directly between the Seeker and the Provider, outside the Platform.
1.4 Verification of a Provider (see Section 4) confirms only that the Provider has submitted valid registration documents at the time of review. It is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the Provider's quality, capability, pricing, or conduct.
1.5 The Platform is intended for use by businesses and business representatives only. It is not a consumer service.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [legal@aljami.io] of any suspected unauthorised use.
2.3 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. Accounts created with false or misleading information may be suspended or terminated.
2.4 One account per business entity. Accounts are not transferable.
3. Provider Terms
3.1 To be listed on the Platform, a Provider must be a registered commercial entity holding a valid Commercial Registration (CR) and Trade Licence (or equivalent). Individual freelancers are not eligible.
3.2 Providers must submit verification documents, including CR number, Trade Licence, and related business details. Providers warrant that all submitted documents are genuine, current, and belong to the entity being registered.
3.3 Listings are published only after review and approval by Al-Jami'. We may approve, reject, or request changes to any listing at our sole discretion, and will provide a reason where a listing is rejected.
3.4 Once a Provider is verified, certain profile elements — including company name, service categories, and verification documents — are locked. Changes to these require a re-review request through the Platform. Providers must promptly request an update if their CR, Trade Licence, or company details change or lapse.
3.5 Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their profile content, service descriptions, pricing information, and any representations made to Seekers on or off the Platform.
3.6 Providers must respond to enquiries professionally and must not use Seeker contact details for unsolicited marketing unrelated to the enquiry.
4. Verification
4.1 Al-Jami' reviews Provider documentation as part of onboarding. This review is conducted in good faith based on documents submitted, but Al-Jami' does not independently audit, inspect, or continuously monitor Providers.
4.2 A "Verified" badge reflects the status at the time of the most recent review. Al-Jami' may re-verify, suspend, or remove a listing at any time, including where documents expire, appear inaccurate, or where complaints or legal requirements make it appropriate.
5. Seeker Terms
5.1 Seekers may browse listings and contact Providers through the Platform's enquiry and messaging tools.
5.2 Seekers are responsible for their own due diligence before engaging any Provider. Al-Jami' encourages Seekers to independently verify credentials, references, and terms before entering into any contract.
5.3 Any engagement entered into with a Provider is at the Seeker's own risk and on terms agreed directly between the Seeker and the Provider.
6. Communications on the Platform
6.1 Enquiries and messages between Seekers and Providers are transmitted through the Platform. We may process and store these communications to operate the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes about Platform use, and comply with legal obligations (see our Privacy Policy).
6.2 You must not use Platform communications to send spam, harassment, unlawful content, or to solicit activity unrelated to legitimate B2B services.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- (a) submit false, forged, or misleading documents or information;
- (b) impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- (c) scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Platform;
- (d) attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, or verification processes;
- (e) upload malicious code or interfere with the Platform's operation;
- (f) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws of Qatar or the QFC;
- (g) list or seek services that are illegal, regulated activities the Provider is not licensed for, or outside the Platform's B2B scope.
8. Content & Intellectual Property
8.1 The Platform, including its design, taxonomy, software, and branding (including "Al-Jami'" and "الجميع"), is owned by or licensed to Al-Jami' LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the Platform under these Terms.
8.2 You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, logos, descriptions, documents). By submitting content, you grant Al-Jami' a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
8.3 You warrant that your content does not infringe any third party's rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe is infringing, unlawful, or in breach of these Terms.
9. Sponsored Content & Featured Placements
9.1 The Platform may display promotional placements, including featured listings or banners. Paid or sponsored placements are identified as such (e.g. "Ad · Sponsored"). Sponsored placement does not affect a Provider's verification status and does not constitute endorsement.
10. Suspension & Termination
10.1 We may suspend or terminate any account or listing, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms, a legal or regulatory requirement, a risk to other users, or where verification documents have lapsed or cannot be confirmed.
10.2 You may close your account at any time by contacting us at [legal@aljami.io]. Certain records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.
10.3 Sections 1, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14 survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
11.1 The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11.2 We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any Provider listing, profile content, or user-submitted information, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any services engaged between users.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Al-Jami' LLC shall not be liable for: (a) any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; (b) loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity; or (c) any loss arising from an engagement, dispute, or transaction between a Seeker and a Provider.
12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to Al-Jami' in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) QAR 1,000.
12.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Al-Jami' LLC, its officers, and employees from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your content or documents; or (c) any engagement or dispute between you and another Platform user.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Qatar Financial Centre, and where applicable, the laws of the State of Qatar.
14.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the QFC Civil and Commercial Court (Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre).
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
16. General
16.1 These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Al-Jami' regarding the Platform.
16.2 If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.
16.3 Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
16.4 You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
